How is this different from Apple's built-in Screen Time?
Apple's Screen Time prompts can be dismissed with a single tap. PhoneCurfew uses the same Screen Time framework Apple provides to apps — but designed for nighttime willpower. The override forces a 60-second wait plus a typed reason, which breaks the autopilot scroll that built-in Screen Time can't.
Does PhoneCurfew know which apps I block?
No. Apple's FamilyControls framework hands us opaque tokens, not app names or bundle IDs. We never know whether you're blocking Instagram, TikTok, or your own work email. Everything stays on your device — no analytics tied to your selection.
What happens during the 7-day free trial?
You get full premium access for 7 days at no charge — OS-level app blocking, override system, weekday and weekend schedules, and the calendar heatmap. Cancel any time through your App Store account settings before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
Do I need an account?
No. PhoneCurfew has no sign-up, no login, no email field. Your schedule, streak, and override logs are stored on your device only via Apple's SwiftData framework.
